AIRLIE TIMBER FINISHES
SOLID TASMANIAN OAK TIMBER AND VENEER
A beautiful and warm Australian hardwood timber which grows in the mountainous areas of Tasmania, Victoria and South East NSW.
Tasmanian Oak is a premium timber unique to Australia with its colour ranging from a pale pink to pale yellow or brownish colour. The heartwood and sapwood colours are generally quite hard to tell apart.
Featuring a moderately course texture and a predominately straight grain, Tasmanian Oak may be wavy in parts resulting in a fiddle back appearance. Gum veins are also a common feature.
